killinuxfloor 3.0 has been released, with the most important change being DDoS protection. Apparently jerks have been DDoSing KF2 servers since at least 2021, but it has been brought to my attention only now.
This also means that firewalld is no longer optional, it’s just too much hassle to add all kinds of quirks and checks to make it optional.
The other highlight of this release is the completely revamped
klf workshop command, which I think looks pretty nifty now:
